Youth Arts in Action Presents Fairy Tea for the Arts
Youth Arts in Action presents its Third Annual “Fairy Tea for the Arts” Sunday May 18.
This benefit event raises scholarship funds for outstanding young artists, so they can attend programs at such renowned schools as Royal Ballet School, London; Bel Canto Institute, Florence; Kirov Academy of Ballet, Washington, D.C., and American Ballet Theatre, New York City.
Held at the Gallatin Gateway Inn, this year’s event features a magical tea with fairy-themed tables, photos in Neptune’s chair, dancing water fairies, a fairy wedding complete with fairy fencers, live musicians and opera, and a presentation of the “Mystery of the Golden Ratio.” Performances will showcase the collaboration of award-winning young musicians and dancers together on stage.
In association with the Fairy Tea for the Arts, Youth Arts in Action is also presenting its Second Annual Fairy Finest Art Competition. Decorate a fairy house for $10 and win a prize. Entries will be submitted at the Bozeman Public Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 10. Fairy houses will be displayed and prizes will be awarded at the Fairy Tea for the Arts. Preregister by calling 522-0404 and arrange to pick up your fairy house.
