Bozeman secures 2nd

BUTTE — The Bucks wrapped up the second seed in this year’s Class AA state tournament with a 18-6 win in game one of their doubleheader with Butte yesterday. Anthony Rinard went six strong innings to get the win and he was aided greatly By the bat of Caleb Schlender, who finished with two homeruns.


 The Bucks dropped an inconsequential game two 8-7 as Butte’s Brian Kremer hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to drive in Riley Seemens. Matt Comer homer in the loss.

GALLATIN VALLEY 13, DILLON 6: At Dillon, The Southern A District tournament was scheduled to run until today, but the Gallatin Valley Outlaws decided they were done playing in the double elimination tournament by clinching the championship a day early in a 13-6 beating of the Dillon Cubs.
